PUBLIC NOTICE
Prequalification of Contractors for Future Tenders
Pharo Foundation hereby invites interested and eligible contractors to submit applications
for prequalification to participate in potential future tenders related to surface water
infrastructure projects, including the construction of hafir dams.
The objective of this prequalification process is to establish a pool of qualified contractors
who may be invited to bid for upcoming works

Prequalification Approval Criteria
Applicants must submit the following documentation:

1. Company Profile
2. Valid Business License
3. Valid Permit to Operate from the Ministry of Water Resources
4. Current Tax Clearance Certificate (2026)
5. Financial Statements for the last five (5) years
   Pharo Foundation www. pharofoundation.org
   Maansoor Road, Koodbuur,
   Hargeisa, Somaliland
6. List of major projects relevant to surface water infrastructure (specifically
   construction of hafir dams)
7. List of equipment owned by the company
   Minimum Required Equipment:
   o Excavator
   o Grader
   o Bulldozer
   o Compactor
   o Loader
   o
   Equipment of ownership must be verified through submission of official equipment
   registration books.
8. CVs of qualified personnel, including:
   o Project Manager
   o Civil Engineer
   o Surveyors
   Only contractors meeting the above criteria will be considered for inclusion in the
   prequalified list and will be notified accordingly.
9. Important Notes
   • Pharo Foundation reserves the right to accept or reject any application without
   providing reasons.
   • Submission of documents does not guarantee the award of any contract.
   • Only prequalified firms will be invited to participate in future tenders.
