Somaliland’s multiparty system began with the constitutional referendum in 2001. Since then, Somaliland has successfully conducted multiple elections at the municipal, parliamentary, and presidential levels. In preparation for the upcoming combined elections scheduled for November 13, 2024, the NEC seeks to ensure free, fair, and inclusive elections with widespread voter engagement. We invite local civil society organizations (CSOs) with a proven track record in voter education and awareness campaigns to contribute to voter education for the upcoming Somaliland presidential and political party elections. Selected CSOs will be essential in enhancing voter knowledge and encouraging participation in the electoral process. We aim to select two categories of CSOs:Lot 1: NGOs that will cover all districts within their chosen region.Lot 2: CBOs that will focus exclusively on specific districts or subareas within the capital cities.
