Context

The UNFPA Somalia CO is preparing its 2026 Humanitarian Brochure, a flagship communication and resource-mobilization product that will present the ageny’s humanitarian priorities, funding requirements, and life-saving interventions in SRH, GBV prevention and response, adolescent and youth programming, and protection. The brochure will be used to engage humanitarian donors, government counterparts, UN agencies, and partners in the context of shrinking global humanitarian funding and ongoing system-wide humanitarian reset and reform processes. The Humanitarian Unit is therefore seeking an online volunteer to provide technical support in consolidating content, visual design, and layout to ensure a professional, compelling, and donor-ready product. Under the supervision of the Humanitarian Programme Coordinator and in close collaboration with the Humanitarian Unit and Communications focal points, the Online Volunteer will support the development of the 2026 Humanitarian Brochure by: Supporting the organization and structuring of draft content provided by the Humanitarian Unit (humanitarian context, needs overview, response strategy, results, funding requirements, and geographic coverage).
