Invitation for Bid (IFB) Extension of existing primary school classrooms, construction of twin latrines, and rehabilitation of girl-friendly spaces in the Northeastern State of Somalia-LOT1
ALIGHT (formerly ARC) is implementing Education project in northeastern state of Somalia. In reference to this, ALIGHT/ARC invites tender from qualified, registered companies as detailed above, the detail description is summarized in accordance with procedures, conditions, and contract terms, as specified in this tender document and the BOQ.
Alight Somalia is seeking qualified contractors for the subject of the above head title.
(All tender documents MUST be submitted on company’s letter head and on ALIGHT/ARC template provided as part of the tender documents).
1. Qualification and Conditions: The main criteria for admission to the tender process are as follows:
a) Certificate of Registration from the National Government Certifying Authority and the state level (Attach Certificate of Incorporation).
b) A good track record and references from previous clients, preferably from the UN and INGOs, with a contract value of $100,000 or above. The contractor should provide proof of experience in similar tasks, having completed at least three projects of comparable nature and complexity within the last five years. Additionally, please include telephone contacts and email addresses for at least three referees.
c) Submission of the latest certified bank statement of the applying entity for at least the last six months.
d) Submission of a tax compliance certificate from the federal government and the state level.
e) Submission of a certificate of registration from the Ministry of Public Works at the federal government and state level.
f) Official quotation on the company’s letterhead, stamped and signed, based on the attached BOQ.
g) Detailed work plan.
h) technical capability statement including a list of relevant equipment owned or hired, and skilled staff. Provide details and proof such as copies of logbooks, equipment hires agreements, academic certificates, and CVs for proposed personnel.
