The Somaliland Development Fund (SDF) Phase 3 aims to strengthen the climate resilience of
vulnerable communities in Somaliland while creating increased income and job opportunities,
thereby helping to reduce poverty. SDF3’s ambitions are aligned with NDP3 and reflect the
priorities set out in Somaliland Vision 2030.
2. The SDF has allocated funds to the Ministry of Agriculture Development (MoAD) for the
implementation of the Sanaag Climate Smart Agriculture Project. As a part of this project, MoAD
intends to use parts of these funds for the Procurement of a Contractor for Drilling and Development
of Two Boreholes in Erigavo, identified as ICB No. P103-029.
3. The Somaliland Development Fund Secretariat now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified
bidders for the Drilling and Development of Two Boreholes in Erigavo as described in detail the
bidding documents.
Bidding will be in accordance with the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in
the SDF procurement manual which can be found at the SDF website via the link: SDF3 -
Procurement Manual.pdf and is open to all eligible bidders.
