ALIGHT Horn of Africa is a non-profit, non-sectarian, international humanitarian organization working with Refugees and IDPs for more than 40 years providing primary health care and clean water, shelter, protection, education, livelihood support and economic opportunity to more than 3.5 million people, in solidarity with the people, we serve who are too often defined by a single dark moment in their lives, we’re dropping the label ‘refugee.’ Alight sees and helps every person make meaningful change in the world – from displaced and marginalized communities in Africa, Asia and the Americas to…anyone, anywhere.

ALIGHT Horn of Africa has been working in Somaliland since 2013, and has a permanent presence in Hargeisa, with an overall objective to enhance protection and promote the rights of displaced persons in Humanitarian need by improving and seeking durable solutions by providing primary health care, protection, training and skill transfer, income generating projects and other related services to innocent people uprooted by war and civil conflict.  ALIGHT Horn of Africa provides assistance to more than million refugees, displaced persons, returnees, and host communities where possible.  

In reference to this, ALIGHT Horn of Africa cordially invites Interested and eligible respective bidders with sound capacity and relevant experience in similar work for the  RFP for the Provision of Assessment, Screening and Intervention for Inclusive Educational Wellbeing for Children with Disability as per the terms and conditions provided in this RFP and the Provided Term of Refference.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Description:

ALIGHT Horn of Africa invites Interested Bidders with sound capacity and relevant experience in similar works to submit invitation to bid in a SEALED envelope and be deposited/delivered at ALIGHT Horn of Africa Tender Box in Hargeisa Office Respectively. (All Price estimates Must be submitted on ALIGHT Horn of Africa scope of work format).

2. Requirements for Tender Documents

• Technical Proposal:Provide a comprehensive proposal detailing your approach to delivering assessment, screening, and intervention services, Methodology, Tools ,Deliverables, Workplan and Key staff Resume.  Include examples of similar services successfully provided to organizations focused on educational wellbeing for children with disabilities.
• Financial Proposal:Outline your financial expectations, detailed cost estimate for the proposed services including a detailed breakdown of costs associated with the services rendered ensuring transparency in pricing.
• Good track record and references from previous clients  - Submit evidence of a proven track record in providing similar services. Include at least three references from previous clients, specifically highlighting your work in the field of inclusive education and disability support.
• Relevant Experience (Include supporting documents such as contracts, Local Purchase Orders (LPOs), or recommendation letters that verify your past experience in similar projects).
• Company Profile with detailed physically verifiable contact address.
• Most recent Bank statements.
• Price Estimate.
• Workplan / Lead time.
• Mode of Payment.
• Valid Registration certificates for Somaliland Government.
• Tax Clearance Certificate.
• All bids should be written in English.

Interested Contractors with sound capacity and relevant experience in similar work are here by invited to submit their Bid in a SEALED envelope, clearly marked with the quote reference as mentioned in the above table RFP for the Provision of Assessment, Screening and Intervention for Inclusive Educational Wellbeing for Children with Disability and be deposited/delivered at Alight Horn of Africa office in Hargeisa Office.
