The Main purpose of the recruitment:

Follow-up and direct supervision of the provision of material and moral support to the sponsored person in order to contribute to improving their social conditions based on the principle of comprehensive sponsorship and in accordance with the concept of a participatory approach, under the humanitarian and development systems and standards followed in this field.

Key roles and responsibilities:

• Adherence to all policies, systems and procedures in force at Qatar Charity.
• Being aware of the social, cultural, political and economic reality of the society in which works, and being careful to respect its customs, traditions and cultures.
• Preparing case studies according to social research methodology based on the directions of the social welfare.
• Submit the case study to the social welfare officer and provide him when needed with additional information about the cases that were studied.
• Follow up on the preparation of case files according to the lists of documents required by the association, and confirm the accuracy, of all documents submitted.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of information related to the cases studies and being fully committed to not using this information except within the strictly professional limits assigned to it.
• Preparing and implementing the periodic work plan (weekly/monthly) under the supervision of the social welfare officer.
• Supervising the provision of the required services for the benefit of beneficiaries who fall within the scope of the supervision, according to the general framework of social supervision followed by Qatar Charity, and according to the time plan approved by the social welfare official.
• Supervising the beneficiaries’ direct receipt of their allocations on time and in the specified amounts and preparing receipt statements and submitting them to the social welfare official.
• Communicating with various concerned parties in the sponsorship supervisor’s work area to serve the provision of scheduled services to the beneficiaries he supervises.
• Conduct a home follow-up visit to the sponsored persons who live within the scope of supervision at least once a year.
• Preparing individual reports for beneficiaries according to categories and according to the approved periodicity for completing these reports and ensuring that all data contained in the reports are current and accurate.
• Facilitating communication with beneficiaries or reaching them, whether for the purposes of follow-up, monitoring or evaluation.
• Preparing quarterly achievement reports to list the various achievements that have been made to provide services to the various groups supervises.
• Providing the necessary information about the beneficiaries who are responsible for requesting it, whether from the office or from the main headquarters.
• Supervising the implementation of activities and services for sponsored persons in cooperation with activities and sponsorship supervisors.
• Report any problem that may hinder the progress of work and initiate proposals for appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
• Additional activities and tasks required of the sponsorship supervisor.

Experiences and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/or/master’s degree in international development, human rights, psychology, sociology, international law and other fields of social sciences.

Qualification that increases chances:

1. Excellent written and oral communication skills in Arabic and English.
2. Ability to manage complex teams.
3. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
4. Excellent in using MS Office, especially Word, Access and Excel.
5. Being Qatar charity Volunteer or formal employee is highly considered.
6. Qualified Qatar charity Sponsored graduates are highly encouraged.
7. Qualified Women are highly encouraged.
